Delicious & Gluten Free in Brixton, South London

Brixton is such a cool place to live...

I'd visited a few times before I moved and decided I loved it. It's vibrant, multicultural and has loads of gluten free options. The markets on Electric Avenue and Brixton Village are amazing, with food and products from Africa, the Caribbean and all over the world.

Pop Brixton

Brixton is crazy busy and full of people. And with places like Pop Brixton (a community space made from shipping containers) for events, drinks and food, Brockwell Park for a walk in nature and venues like Brixton Academy and Hootananny there's never a dull moment.

Brixton Village

So here are my favourite places to grab some gluten free food in Brixton. A few of these places are available on Deliveroo too.

The brunch at Wood & Water is amazing. The food is delicious, it's British with a Jamaican twist. They have gluten free options, above is the sweet potato rosti with salsa and bacon.

Station 26 is a 100% gluten free restaurant in Brixton Village. Check out my post here.

You can't go wrong with Honest Burgers. Their burgers and rosemary salted chips are so good, and most of the food is gluten free, you just need to swap the bun for a gluten free bun. My favourite burger is the vegan plant burger (above).

Senzla is a creperie bar and cafe that does buckwheat gluten free crepes with loads of different sweet and savoury fillings - they're so good.

Jalisco serves up delicious and authentic Mexican food - including tacos with gluten free corn tortillas.

Banh Banh is a lovely family restaurant with sites in both Brixton and Peckham. Their Vietnamese food is so fresh and delicious.

Mamma Dough have branches all over South London and they do a very tasty gluten free pizza for an extra £2.50.
