The Landmark, Marylebone

I think The Winter Garden restaurant at The Landmark is one of my favourites...

I really love it when a restaurant makes you feel serene and relaxed. I absolutely hate it when you have to shout over the noise and cant hear in a restaurant. Or when you have to shout for the waiter to hear you.

The Landmark is not like that. It is calm and quite quiet with beautiful piano music playing in the background. I left feeling really chilled and relaxed.

Their set menu was reasonably priced too at 3 courses for £35! An absolute bargain for the quality of the food. I had tuna to start, cod for main and a cheeseboard for dessert. It was all delicious and gluten free.

When I ordered, I asked what was gluten free and was told to choose what I wanted and they would see if they could make it gluten free. They even had gluten free crackers for the cheeseboard.

I love it when restaurants say to choose what I want and they'd try and make it gluten free. I have noticed that it is something that higher end restaurants do. Cheaper places seem quite resentful which can often detract from the meal and make you feel a bit stressed!

Not only was the food and the ambience woderful, the décor and setting was incredible too - huge palm trees in a beautiful atrium. It was almost magical and not something you expect in central London. I would 10/10 recommend if you are gluten free or just looking for a special place to have a meal.
