14 Hills, City of London

14 Hills is a very cool spot on the 14th floor of 120 Fenchurch Street...

It has really good vibes and gorgeous botanical décor. It claims to have amazing views too but unfortunately, when I went, we were seated away from the windows so I couldn't see out.

We did have a really nice table though, with plenty of space and nice comfy seats. As much as I did love the green leafy décor, the rest of the experience didn't really wow me.

I think it was because the food wasn't amazing, for me. They did say to choose what I wanted and they'd make it gluten free. So I played it safe and chose the burrata followed by the chicken.

The food was good but not at all memorable and a bit bland. Maybe if I hadn't played it safe, it may have been a different story! I would like to go back and try something different on the menu.

Now, while I couldn't see the views out of the windows from where I was sitting, the good thing about this restaurant is that it is the floor below The Garden at 120 Fenchurch Street.

When you leave the restaurant you can just go up the stairs to the roof garden and see the most incredible views of the city! It also means that you get to skip the queues at street level to the roof garden.
