Jurema at The Mandrake Hotel, Fitzrovia

Guys, its been so long! Life has been manic this year between work, my social media and having long covid I just haven't had time or energy to update this blog...

If I showed you just these photos, would you believe that they were taken in Central London? Jurema is a hidden gem and the perfect spot for summer.

It is an outdoor terrace surrounded by a hanging garden of jasmine and passionflower and overlooks the courtyard with its lush ferns. When I first stepped into it, I couldn't believe we were still in the UK, let alone the middle of London.

We started with drinks and they had alcohol free fizz which is always a bonus. I might not drink alcohol anymore but I do like to have something special to drink when I'm out for a fancy lunch.

The South American food was really delicious. The portions weren't huge but they were very helpful with helping me find gluten free options. I had prawns to start followed by the pork, both were fresh and flavoursome.

So if you are looking for somewhere for alfresco dining this summer, I would highly recommend!
